Tree Planting
Claron recently helped to plant around 500 hedging trees on the local common.
Comprising Hawthorn, Blackthorn, Whitethorn, Hazel, holly and Plum giving a good variety of berries etc for wildlife.

   

Carbon Dioxide
On average a tree can absorb as much as 48 pounds of carbon dioxide per year. This means it will sequester approximately 1 ton of carbon dioxide by the time it reaches 40 years old. While all plants absorb carbon dioxide, trees absorb significantly more because of their size, roots and average life span.
